What was your favorite lecture at COA? Why?
Linda Robinson came and spoke to my Gender in Global Perspective class and it was so interesting to hear about her time working in Africa as a midwife. She was really engaging and had so many great stories to tell.
What is your dream occupation?
Running an after school youth center in a metropolitan area.

What do you see yourself doing after COA?
Going to grad school to get my Masters in Social Work
What country or state would you like to visit? Where would you love to live?
I want to see all of the United States. I have never been to the midwest or the deep south and I would love to experience the cultures there. I would love to live in Chicago. I have never been there but I’ve heard so many great things about it.
What is happiness to you?
Happiness is playing music with my close friends by the ocean on a warm spring day.
What are your plans, if any, for your internship?
I may be interning in the human resources department of an investment firm in Manhattan or with an LGBT youth center in White Plains, New York.
What has been your favorite class at COA? Why?
Satanic Verses because I read literature I would have never picked up myself and Bill Carpenter often connected it to psychoanalysts like Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud. I also liked I was able to connect the material and the idea of Satan to other parts of my life.
What are your ideas for your senior project?
I want to create an off season youth center in Bar Harbor so teens have some place to go after school or on the weekend.
What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Going to Israel with my family for my brother’s Bar Mitzvah. It was so cool to see another side of the world, especially in a place I may not have a chance to visit again.
What is your favorite food to eat? What is your favorite thing to cook?
Veggie burgers to eat; I love baking cookies.
What do you like to do when you’re not doing school work?
I like to bake, hang out with my friends, play guitar, and read.
What is your favorite color?
Purple
What is your favorite flower?
My allergies prevent me from having a favorite flower.
What are your favorite animals?
Cats, rats, and anything small and furry.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
The egg must have come first as some hybrid of some other two animals... or something. I’m not an expert when it comes to genetics.
What is the motto you like to live by?
“Don’t dwell on mistakes, learn from them.”
Why did you choose to come to COA?
I was drawn to the small class sizes and the interesting courses that were offered.
What do you like to study?
Psychology, specifically social psychology

Rogue from X-men

My mother.
What do you value most in your friends?
Their loyalty and sense of humor

my friends say I’m altruistic
What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could draw, paint, or do anything artistic with my hands.
What is your least favorite spice?
Cilantro
Do you have anything cool or unique you would like to share?
I play in a band called Holly and the Horribles and we have been called by some the “COA House Band”.
