Facility
The Thorndike Library includes three main areas. The library lobby houses the circulation desk, public computers, copying machines, reserves, display cases, and a Seminar Room. The Seminar Room is a 15 seat, fully equipped classroom available for patron use when not being used for scheduled classrooms and meetings. The Charles and Barbara Tyson Reading Room includes the library's reference collection, current journals, new books, comfortable reading chairs and study tables, and a porch overlooking the ocean. The stacks house the bulk of the library's print collection and archives. Study carrels and some AV equipment are available for use.
