College of the Atlantic Archives
The College of the Atlantic Archives is the main repository for the college's historical records. The Archives is located in the Thorndike Library, but is not available for browsing. For access, please contact Ingrid Hill.
The College of the Atlantic Archives and Special Collections has been established to serve scholars in research and education. The main focus of the archives is to appraise, collect, organize, describe, make available and preserve official college records of historical value to the college. The college will also collect non-official and non-university records of unique value known as the Special Collections. The Special Collections' main focus is to enhance and contribute to the college's various academic interests. The Archives and Special Collections seek to serve as the ongoing institutional focal point for the documentation, study and appreciation of history and activities of College of the Atlantic.
