International Student Services

International Students

Welcome to international student services!

The College of the Atlantic International Student Services (ISS) Office offers a variety of programs, services, and immigration advising to its international student body.  Here at COA the international students currently make up 18% of the whole student body!

The international students are present and vital participants in the COA community and around the world, participating in programs such as Projects for Peace, Earth in Brackets, The Watson Fellowship, and the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change, and many others.  The ISS Office works closely with the international students throughout the year to ensure that they are well-informed of their immigration requirements and needs as well as comfortable and settled during their time at COA.  Since the college is smaller, we are able to provide a much more personal touch for our international students.

If you have questions about immigration and visa issues, the Community Connections Program, or anything to do with the international student experience here at COA, please feel free to contact Monica Hamm, Coordinator of International Student Services at, or 207-801-5673.
